The brief
I built Thiafa's complete customer-facing storefront from the beginning as its sole frontend developer. I also implemented backend business logic for products, shipping, checkout, and payments.
What was at stake
Customers needed to find the right product, see a reliable delivery price, and complete payment without surprises. The experience also had to work clearly in Arabic and English across desktop and mobile.
What I engineered
- The complete bilingual storefront: product discovery, product pages, cart, checkout, payment, addresses, and customer accounts.
- Search, filters, product options, and stock-aware choices that stop customers from ordering unavailable combinations.
- Delivery pricing that updates from the customer's location and keeps checkout closed until a reliable shipping option is ready.
- A guided checkout with address validation, country-aware payment choices, and safeguards against duplicate or interrupted submissions.
Where it landed
- Live in production since 2024 with 3,283 registered users.
- 4,117 completed orders and 17,626 items sold as of July 31, 2026.
- One storefront serves Arabic and English shoppers across desktop and mobile.
